Dr. Jessica Mann & Dr. Revital Faro | The Bumpier Road To Motherhood | Sept 26th 2018 | MD for Moms Radio

MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.

This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. Jessica Mann and Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist Dr. Revital (Tally) Faro about what happens when the process of conception and subsequent pregnancy are difficult and high risk. We will explore options for fertility treatments with Dr. Jessica Mann and discuss who her typical patient is and how she helps them conceive. Is it safe to transfer more than one embryo during IVF? Should all embryos have genetic testing prior to transfer? If a couple requires fertility treatments for one pregnancy does that mean they de facto will need help again?

Some pregnancies are considered high risk and require increased care from a MFM specialist like Dr. Tally Faro. When is a pregnancy considered high risk and what are the added steps taken to minimize risk? When should non invasive genetic testing be sufficient and when is it more appropriate to have invasive genetic testing and diagnosis? How can women reduce the risk of preterm delivery? Answers to all these questions and more on this week’s MD for Moms.

Have a question for Dr. Jessica Mann and Dr. Tally Faro about fertility treatments and/or about high risk pregnancy?
