MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.
This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing Dr. Alexis Hugelmeyer about self care and wellness. Dr Hugelmeyer is a board certified Family Physician who began an online wellness program called Balance Before Burnout and also has a virtual practice, DrLexRx, where she helps people address stress and improve their lives through self care. She mixes humor and humility with healthy doses of reality and empowers women to be their best selves.
Our show will focus on self care – what does it really mean to prioritize yourself sometimes? Why are we as women so reluctant to put ourselves first and why is taking time for self care so important in life? We will also explore burnout and how it can be combatted to maximize happiness in every aspect of life.
Have a question for Dr. Alexis Hugelmeyer about self care and avoiding burnout?
