Dr. Carly Snyder is a board-certified general adult psychiatrist sub-specializing in reproductive and perinatal psychiatry. Dr. Snyder received her medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed a general adult psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center with additional reproductive psychiatry elective training at the Payne Whitney Women's Program at NY Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she remains a voluntary faculty member.
She maintains a private practice on the Upper East Side in NYC and works virtually, with limited in-person sessions available.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Snyder is actively involved in various organizations dedicated to mental health and women's well-being. She is a former board member and serves on the Advisory Council and Research Committee of Postpartum Support International. Dr. Snyder also contributes her expertise to the Verywell Medical Review Board and the Parents Expert Review Board.
