Dr. Nancy Yen Shipley | Shoulders, Knees, (not toes) | July 31st 2019 | MD for Moms Radio

MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.

This week on MD for Moms, I interview  orthopaedic surgeon, mom and speaker Dr. Nancy Yen Shipley, NancyMD, about her career and specialty, plus how she motivates others to be and do more. We discuss her inspiring path to medicine and how she was able to comfortably navigate as a woman within the male dominated world of orthopaedics to not only survive, but to thrive and soar. We focus on joints and ways to remain active without pain, plus the impact of pregnancy and how to address common aches experienced by many moms-to-be. Dr. Yen Shipley also explains her approach to reaching one’s highest potential and becoming a renaissance woman (or man) – who doesn’t want that?
