MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.
This week on MD for Moms, I interview Dr.’s Christina Johns and Trupti Shah, pediatric and adult emergency medicine physicians, respectively, about how to prevent and prepare for worst case scenarios. If you are anything like me, going to the ER is a last resort for myself and my kids. But, accidents are unavoidable, and sometimes an ER visit is necessary – what can we as parents do to reduce the stress of an ER visit for our children? How can we plan ahead to avoid certain common injuries, and also how can we safeguard ourselves? When is it a good idea to skip the ER and wait for your doctor or pediatrician in the morning, and when can an emergency not wait? Learn the answers to these common questions along with much more on this week’s MD for Moms.
