MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.
This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing Dr. Molly Ryan about forensic psychiatry and general mental health. Many people talk about the dangers of psychiatric patients, but is this information accurate? Research indicates that people with mental illness are more likely to be the victims of crime rather than the perpetrators, yet sometimes there are still situations where this rule does not hold true. We will speak with Dr. Ryan about how we as a society can better help and understand mental illness and the law, and how best to protect ourselves from people who are not capable of understanding right from wrong.
